Aye zindegi tu hi bataa....

Listen this song in a tv show of Amair Khan in Satyameva Jayate. Love the lyrics. For that I put it on my blog.........

Aye zindegi tu hi bataa,
Khoya hai jo, paaoon kahaan?
Har bhool ko maafi mile
Roothe palon ko main laaoon manaa

Naa janee kitni
Ahnsti aakhon ke
Saare sapne cheen liye maine
Saaye hain cheene
Kitne saron se
Aur kitne ghar phoonk diye maine

Naa jaane kitne rishton ki
Dor main kaat kay aaya hoon
Itni baate bhooloon main kaise
Kaise main khud ko apnaaoon

Aye zindegi tu hi bataa
Khoya hai jo,paaoon kahaan?
Har phool ko maafi mile
Roothe palon ko main laaoon manaa

Aankhein thi khuli,maloom tha sab
Sab kuch hote dekh raha tha main
Phir bhi na kuch bhi rokaa maine
Janee kis lehar bahaa tha main

Kaash yeh sab ik khawaab hi ho
Aankh khule toh sab theek mile
Bojh yeh man kay laaein utar
Dil yeh mera phir se khile

Aye zindegi tu hi bataa
Khoye hai jo,paaoon kahaan?
Har phool ko maafe mile
Roothe palon ko main laaoon manaa

Aye zindegi,tu hi bataa

I miss you

It’s been over a three  month that I am here in a distant land and you are there

I couldn’t resist but think of you at times and wonder

What brought us so close, and what made us part ways…

The best of places we visited, the times we spent together,

The intimate of moments we cherished…

All seem very distant now.

From the beginning, I know you were mine,

But circumstances brought us together and I was more than happy

At times, when you would go to far from me

Words fail me in telling you how much I miss you

And every time you  memory only return to me as hurt and bruised,
I felt pride in taking care of you

And once you are back on your feet, only I know how happy I feel

With you on my side, even a long drive seemed pretty small

And midnight ice creams and dinners were the happening events

Without you, even Bangalore looks like the Alcatraz prison

My room and office – solitary confinement room in that prison

I miss the soothing and comforting touch of you

I miss holding you in my arms and going places

I miss talking to you in front of me and listening to you sing
I miss your waiting for me and saying me today again you are late

I miss the cool breeze that you blow when I had a rough day

I miss you..... my Life!!!!

I love Rain!!!!!!!

Rain drops falling in my head,
and never knowing when it will end.
Should I run for cover,
or let another rain drop fall in my head again?
I would love to dance in the rain,
and knowing somehow it’ll help erase the pain.
Sometimes when I’m all alone,
and I see rain drops are falling outside again.
There’s happiness that I feel in the rain
For that I love Rain
How beautiful is the rain!
After the dust and heat,
In the broad and fiery street,
In the narrow lane,
How beautiful is the rain!
How it clatters along the roofs,
Like the tramp of hoofs
How it gushes and struggles out
From the throat of the overflowing spout!
Across the window-pane
It pours and pours;
And swift and wide,
With a muddy tide,
Like a river down the gutter roars
The rain, the welcome rain!
For that I love Rain….

A peek into my Life-

Life is the sum of experiences that I encounter as I go through life. Day to day struggles and triumphs are experienced by all of the world's creatures. As human beings, when I encounter a challenge, I have freedom to choose how to react. Every decision that I make,  leads me down a different road. I will never come to exactly the same crossroads. Every decision the  I  make has significance. The tiniest choice that I make reverberates throughout the entire universe.

Today when I completed 1 year in my current company. I’m happy because Now I can take the challenges which will come to my way. In this 1 year so many struggles came and I overcame that period. I’m confident now that I can accept all challenges in my life. Feeling satisfied when I got the mail from HR and my team lead. Got so many appreciation mail. Feeling good but a big way I have to go. Waiting for that challenge…….

Thanks God!!!!!!

Grow on!!!!!!

I recently came across this article...and absolutely loved it. Even though it's from 2006 and many of you might have already read it, I thought of blogging it here, so that more people can read it and I can refer to it again in future.

Regina Brett's 45 life lessons and 5 to grow on
by Regina Brett

To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me.

It is the most-requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolls over to 50 this week, so here's an update:

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

4. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

5. Pay off your credit cards every month.

6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.

8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.

9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.

10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.

11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.

12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.

13. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.

15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.

16. Life is too short for long pity parties. Get busy living, or get busy dying.

17. You can get through anything if you stay put in today.

18. A writer writes. If you want to be a writer, write.

19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.

20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.

21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.

22. Overprepare, then go with the flow.

23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.

24. The most important sex organ is the brain.

25. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: "In five years, will this matter?"

27. Always choose life.

28. Forgive everyone everything.

29. What other people think of you is none of your business.

30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.

31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

32. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.

33. Believe in miracles.

34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.

35. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.

36. Growing old beats the alternative - dying young.

37. Your children get only one childhood. Make it memorable.

38. Read the Psalms. They cover every human emotion.

39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.

40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.

41. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.

42. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.

43. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.

44. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

45. The best is yet to come.

46. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

47. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.

48. If you don't ask, you don't get.

49. Yield.

50. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

Ending this post with a powerful quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson:

"To laugh, often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."

Life Struggles

I was the sunshine that cradled your day
that tried to push the clouds away
I was the sand that ran between your toes
when you were four years old
that soon became the rain you danced in
from seven to eleven
And I watched you grow in the glow
of a moon that beamed
when you turned thirteen
How unfair you thought I'd become
when you turned twenty-one
because you lost a few dreams
But I stayed awake when you were out late
I was the stars 'till you turned twenty-eight
And when you found your love
"the one"
I was glimmer in the eye, the blue sky, the sun
Then you turned thirty-one
I became cloud, thunder and shower
there weren't enough minutes to put in your hour
You forgot how to dance in the rain
'till you turned forty all you did was complain
Then you took off your shoes
and went back to the sand
I was now the warmth of your child's hand
At forty-three
you spent more time with me
You began to understand
And when you stood fifty years old
you stayed warm to me even though
at times I was cold
How close we grew
when you turned sixty-two
The breeze was I
that hung your grandchild's kite in the sky
And I'm sorry I made you sad
when I took "the one" away
But I was proud
when you pushed aside that cloud
and cradled 'me' in the sun
for the remainder of our day
 Mistycal Morning
