Some guidelines for myself:)

  Have goals in your life, that will help you keep moving forward .
  You are the creator of your own life, and you can make anything out of it. So dream big, act big and make it big.
  Be it right or wrong; be the person you are. We all like people who are honest and just honest.
  Your problems are your own, and they will keep coming. Instead of getting worried about problems, put your energy in getting out of the problems.
  What ever is happening in your life right now is because of the actions you have taken in the past. What will happen tomorrow is; how you act now.
  The main key to success is confidence.
  Find your inner strength, and never let you down. You might not be Mr. or Ms. Perfect, but you are the person that no one can ever be.
  Never sacrifice your future for your present and find the perfect balance between present and future to live a better life.
  Never share your problems with anyone, because everyone is busy handling their own problems.
  Give as much as you could without expecting anything in return.
  Success is an endless journey, once you on the track; you don’t have to stop ever.

  Most important: Your blog is your personal space. When you write anything, write it from heart, and you will earn million hearts.

Who Am I?

I have asked this question endlessly till I got the answers. Like everyone I had something unique to do with my life. A thing which gives me satisfaction and a sense of being alive. How we are is actually what the world wants us to see us. And in that quest most of the people forget who they really are. Even I tried to do the same. I wanted to fit in. So I tried being an ideal student, an ideal daughter, an ideal girl and the list goes endless and in all of which I failed miserably. I was just average. I kept believing that I am good for nothing. But someday I woke up and saw that life is not so complicated at all. The secret lied inside me and was ready to come out the day I was ready to accept it. It was just this “To be what I am”. Like any other sport or skill, it is difficult to abide by the rules initially but eventually you start enjoying it. I have been though depression, insanity and humiliation. But those were the things that changed me from being weak and vulnerable to strong and confident person.
It is not a burden anymore. The more you accept yourself for what you are, the more wonderful secrets are revealed about yourself. I have seen most things at a tender age which I cannot reveal on a public forum but thankfully the almighty protected me and my family. He was always there for me. It was just that I never thought he cared about me because he gave me and my family so many troubles. But now I look back and thank him for his mercy. Yes, the bad part was there and it is still there. But it is my choice to accept it as a part of my live and move on or cry about it for the rest of my life. I chose the first option.
If I see my life now, I have every reason to be not happy and in fact no reason to live. But when I see myself, I see myself smiling. Initially I used to feel guilty about it. I used to think this is wrong. I have no right to be happy. I am not talking just like that. My real life was a nightmare which I believe could have been worse but thankfully to the gift I had to cope up, I managed to come out and take a rebirth like the phoenix.

If I told anyone today, no one would believe me. But the truth is I was most shy person in the world. This was because I thought if I say something, people will think I am stupid, people will laugh and what not. So when it was time to talk, I couldn’t utter a single word. But as I grew up, I was behind many people just because I couldn’t speak. I was afraid of speaking in front of anyone. I have traveled a long distance; the distance from weakness to strength. The person who couldn’t give an interview because of nervousness cracked all the interviews in the first go. The secret is simple: honest replies with a smile. If you believe you are the best, your face shows you are the best.

I discovered my love for writing, travelling and photography. So I pursued them as soon as I became independent and I had a job. I set targets every year and surprisingly I make almost all of them a reality. Why? This is just because I make targets which I want to achieve not what my parents or friends or the world wants me to achieve. The resolution if they break are because you made a target which others wanted you to achieve and not you. That is why I have seen many people say that from now on I will exercise daily and they end up following it for maximum just one week. You just have to find a way you like.

I never wanted to be slim, I never wished to be what others expected, I just was happy the way I looked. So I never tried dieting, gym or any such thing. If a thing has to come, then it has to come naturally to me. Like dancing, I do it whenever I feel like. No! I am not a good dancer. But I know I am not good and that makes me enjoy me dancing. I love to  dance for the entire life due to first the conservative nature of a  Indian family from where I come then next due to studies. But when I just danced for the first time forgetting my shyness, I enjoyed it so much that I forgot how bad a dancer I am and how shy I am!

Life is full of surprises if you are ready to face them and let it make you the way you are. In my education years, I never was the person who topped in exams, who was known to be a good painter, singer or anyone. I was a no one. Now I am everything because I am who follows my dreams and is ready for every challenge on my way. I have a rare passion to travel to all places in India. And this passion was not easy and neither was it cheap. I just made my way through challenges and made small targets. I started that dream with Lonavala, Mumbai. But I am proud that overcame those obstacles. This was a sign. That when you want something, destiny will help you. Just don’t back out because things aren’t happening the way you had planned. Be ready for surprises thrown at you by chance! Though really I missed all my friends who could not make it to the trip; but what happens; happens for the best! I waited all my life to be the person I am. And finally when I got independent, I let my dreams come into reality.

So now when I look back I don’t see what I haven’t done. But I see what all I was able to do. How many dreams I pursued and how happy they made me. I have been always seen as someone who doesn’t give importance to saving money when I should be doing that for future. For me, its the present which is more important. I am ready to take a risk. If I start thinking about that, then when is exactly the time to follow my dreams? Without dreams, I am nothing. So I have chosen my path and am ready to face the consequences. If death has to come I wont die as an unsatisfied person but as a person who lived through everything and had the courage to follow dreams. This is who I am

Dreams at Night!!!!

Ever wondered why all creative activity finds its potential in silence? What is thinking? Is it giving time to your mind to express itself, or just a process to browse your mind, or the instinct(popularly known as The Voice of Heart)?
I probably spend far too much time thinking about life. So many nights I have spent thinking - Thinking about various things, feeling sleepy but do not want to sleep- Just staring at my ceiling- thinking of doing something- something other than nothing- about the figures and colors I want to paint those empty canvases with, thoughts of packing my bags and running away towards the mountains, about the musical instruments I would love to learn, lost friends I would want to meet again, or just a weird imagination that if I try to spread my hands would I be able to fly like birds? About many unfulfilled dreams that are the basic cause of thoughts or may be about that charming guy I have always wanted to be with, in the sunset, holding hands!!!

And then spending whole day in making various schemes on how to turn these thoughts into reality. Have you ever had your most constructive thought at night, of how wonderful life could be? There is a strange kind of reality in these thoughts it seems, that give our lives a strange excitement. Remember Santiago, that famous character of the book 'The Alchemist' who believed in his dream so much that he traveled all the way to Egyptian Pyramids in order to chase his dream? It creates a great feeling of passion to turn these dreams into reality.

I am sure, to some extent , these late night thoughts are the basic and the most important reason for the kind of life we lead and are the first step towards achievement, as each thought is a creator of new experience and when we put all our effort to turn these imaginary experiences into reality, life becomes a wonderful journey, I believe. It is an addiction to be lost in the dreams!!!

When I am with you

I can be myself when I am with you…
Because you make me feel like I have never felt before…
I can tell you anything…any crap…can vent any amount of frustration…& you have started listening to it…
Your undying faith is what keeps the flame of love alive….
You and me together…simply create MAGIC….
Thinking of you, fills me with a wonderful feeling…
Your love gives me the feeling, that the best is still ahead…
You never give up on me, and that’s what keeps me going…
You are simply irresistible….
Your terrific sense of humour…
I have had the best time of my life with you and I owe it all to you.
When I look into your eyes, I can see your heart…
Your love has helped me to rediscover myself…b confident…
I love to walk with you by my side…It makes my journey better…
I love that feeling of being secure when you wrap your arms around me…
I love the way you keep your cool when I do something stupid…
I like your small gestures that speak volumes about how much you care…
You mean the world to me…
I love the way you patch up with me after a stupid fight…
And, of course, your intelligence, ’cause you were smart enough to fall in love with me.........:)

Women's Day Special

Today, March 8th, International Women's Day, is a day of celebration. It is also a day when each of us must recommit to ending the inequality that prevents progress in every corner of the globe. We can and we must commit to this so that each of our daughters can ride the bus to school without fear, all of our sisters can fulfill their tremendous potential, and every woman and girl can live up to her full potential
Indian women might have broken through the glass ceiling on the political, professional and corporate fronts, and urban women especially have made remarkable progress and asserted their independence in many areas involving their career and personal choices, but the fact remains that insecurity haunts them on the streets, in offices, in their own homes or even in the mother's womb.
As the Dec 16, 2012, gang-rape of a young woman in Delhi shows, women not only face harassment on the streets on a daily basis but are also victims of violent sexual assault at homes where brides are still set on fire and in offices where work harassment is a reality too.
The Indian woman today has achieved and advanced a lot be it professionally or socially owing to their strong will power. Be it any sector women are right up there and education has played a big role in that. There are a lot of strong headed women today in our society and more women are coming out, determined to prove themselves. But it is also true that social evils and taboos still exist that hinders their progress,"

Here’s to the Woman!!!!
….Who know where she is going,
And will keep on until she get there,
Who knows not only what she wants from life,
But she has to offer in return.
Here’s to the Woman….
Who is loyal  to family and friends,
Who expects no more from others,
Then she is willing to give.
Here’s to the Woman….
Who gives the gift of her thoughtfulness,
Who shows her caring with a word of support,
Her understanding with a smile,
A woman who brings joy to others,
Just by being herself.

HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY to all.Try to get respect and give respect to woman. Woman's are special. Treat them as special...

I Wish Everyone Loved......

For the first time I’m writing for a contest. I want to write previously for Preeti Shenoy’s Blog-“Wishlist Wednesday”, But forget to write in whole month, Today is the last day of this contest,So at the time of coming to office, I decide,I’ll participate in this contest today only..so I'm......
I wish Everyone loved to give value to Time- Time is the most important aspect of our daily life. We know that time is dimension  ordered from past through the present into the future. So we should learn how to learn time management. Everyone should be give prioritize to do list, learn to delegate, Get organized and learn to say ‘NO’.

I wish Everyone loved to others- Life is a game. We have to play for our self and others. Everyone should have the feelings of love for others. Love is critical for body and mind. It’s not negotiable for anybody. It is also true that the less love you have, the more depression you are likely to experience in your life. Love is probably the best antidepressant there is because one of the most common sources of depression is feeling unloved. Most depressed people don't love themselves and they do not feel loved by others. They also are very self-focused, making them less attractive to others and depriving them of opportunities to learn the skills of love.Everyone should love everybody, then only the world can be in peace.

I wish Everyone should loved to give respect to Women-Women creates the world. Women creates the men. But at the end she is suffering for the everything in life. House,Road,Hotel no place is safe for her. Women are part of life as Mother, sister, wife, friend, daughter. In every way Women are sharing love to others. They are also expecting some love from others.Give respect to Women, You will get 100% return of that.

I'm following preeti's blog from some month, Love to participating in the contest. I wish everybody should be loved....:)

It's Time to Go.....

It's time to go......

When is the best time to go?
Rather, when is the time to go?
And, how do you go?
Difficult questions to answer. Isn't it?
It's said the first impression is the last impression.
But I also believe that last impression can also be the 'last' impression.

There could be situations when no one remembers how you entered, or when you entered; but everyone will remember how and when you exited.
Not yet getting my point?

I am talking about drama.
I am talking about politics.
I am talking about sports.
I am talking about life.

There could be occasions when we might not be in control of how and when we enter the stage, (for example we do not control the time and manner of our birth in this world), but almost on all occasions, we can sure try to control how and when we exit the stage (for example through our deeds, actions, and words).

When we are in action, whichever arena one may consider, it is very difficult to assess ourself without any bias continuously/regularly and decide that we have had enough and it's time to move on.

Individuals before us have faced this dilemma, and individuals after us will face this dilemma.

There's a saying which I find very apt to describe some of the above mentioned situations:

You should leave, not when people start saying that it's time for you to leave now; but rather when people ask: why leave now?

One possible reason why it becomes difficult for those in action to retire/move behind the stage/exit is that they conjure an image/world of their own, where they think that they are indispensable for the state/sport/stage and that they can still match their heydays.
Along with this world of their own, there could also be lust of power/fame, and the fear of moving out of stage/fear of oblivion that could explain why it becomes difficult to exit.

I guess I have written enough to make your grey cells ponder on the issue.

It's time for me to go !

PS: The difficulty mentioned in my blog is not only limited to the persons named in the blog. Their names were used just to illustrate the point.

Race,Not with others...But with Yourself!!!!

When we grow older, we learn that it is important to respect ourselves, and try not to mimic others.
When we are young, our parents, in almost all families, ask us to look at others like a neighbor’s son, a cousin, or an acquaintance and behave and become like them. We grow up thinking we need to become like others. And the whole life we spend doing that. We learn that our self, and we teach the same to our children. But don’t you think doing that, clearly disrespects God’s creation?

Everyone in this world is made unique, not for the purpose of becoming like others and imitating them. We are made unique, because we all have the potential to become the one that we all seek to become. But what we are taught when we are young, makes us crib for it our whole life, and waste life, in becoming like "them".

We don't need to become like others. Cultures which had set traditions, they had done so to maintain peace (peace brings happiness ) in the communities. But today, we have become smart enough to understand where our boundaries lie(because we have enough means to understand the lives and limitations of others). Our boundary lies only in one fact that we cannot make others as well ourselves  unhappy. Rest all which happens in this world, all the rules that are set, are only set to make this motive accomplish. World peace, territory boundaries, terrorism, everyone who deals with these heavy topics have the same motto, to make people happy. But we don't generally do so. Gradually everything becomes complicated, because everyone deviates from their line of action(reason being that human mind wants to compete).

Life is easy, if just for once, you could keep the jealousy and the race to become like others aside.
I am saying this because I have felt it personally.
I often say I am quite saintly, often I think in a way which does not relate to world affairs, yet I am living in this world. Being saintly and having different line of thought, I am also often discarded from the world. When I was small, my mother once asked me to imagine what would happen if my fellow classmate and a friend of mine will score much more than I will do. She thought that imagining it, the jealousy that I will feel, will help me score more than him. I told my mother that I don't feel anything even if he scores more. My mother was terribly hurt that day, and she thought I would never do anything in my life. She thought that I do not have this competitiveness in me. When at the age of 9-10 I tried to explain to her, that I must compete with myself, and not others, she said I did not had the right to explain things to her cuz I was not as experienced.

After that day, this incident often realized in front of me. I often fell in situations where I really had to decide and feel the "jealousy", and to my surprise, I have never felt it yet. I donno is it due to my "competitive-lessness", or its due to any other reason which I could call as "wisdom". I concede to the fact that I have never excelled in everything I have done, the reason could very well be the lack of jealousy and competitiveness in my being. Whether you call it my excuse but I say that I have not excelled in those things because I never have liked them in order to break boundaries and work for that particular things.
But excelling in a thing could also differ depending on different perspectives. I wont go there, cuz, that's absolutely different topic to be talked about.
What I want to convey is, it is true and correct to be competitive, but if you could do that with yourself, life will become much more easy. Everyone will be at peace in their minds. These anger, stresses and feelings of loathes will expurgate from all minds and life will become easy to lead, which is what all of us seek.
We dont need to worry about how world will run, we only need to run ourselves flawlessly, and if we cant, we could at least try, cuz who knows, after a few generations possibly we could attain "RAM RAJ" the perfect world that we all seek.
I am not here to preach, but this is what I deeply feel. If anyone has the hesitation and starts thinking about the repercussions, I assure u that it is tough in the beginning, but it is where you will find your solace, and life will definitely become easy.
It is my personal experience.

Respect yourself. Be the way you are. Identify what you like and what you want to be like(not like others but the unique one like yourself. It is possible). There's nothing wrong with you or what you do, cuz after you are dead nothing matters, and until you are living you can make things "matter" what you want to make "matter".
